Kingston: Community-Wide Vigil in Honour of Pittsburgh Victims

An invitation from Kingston Jewish Council President Ian Sarfin:
As you have undoubtedly heard, the Jewish community in Pittsburgh was target and brutally attacked this past Sabbath while they were at prayer. Eleven people were killed.
The entire worldwide Jewish community is reeling from this attack—the deadliest antisemitic attack in American history. As a people, we are bound to one another, no matter the distance or geography. An attack against any of us is an attack against all of us.
We plan to come together to mourn, to comfort, and to recommit ourselves to fighting antisemitism and hatred in all its forms.
Please join us on Tuesday, Oct 30, 2018 at 5pm
Place: Confederation Basin
More details will be forthcoming. Please feel free to contact Ian Sarfin at president@jewishkingston.org
