At the Isabel Turner branch from September 29th at 8:30 AM to sunset on November 11th, in partnership with The World Remembers, Kingston Frontenac Public Library will be broadcasting the 597,889 names of those killed in 1916 from Canada, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, France, Turkey, Italy, the Czech Republic, Australia, Slovenia, New Zealand and the British Indian Army. From the beginning, PeaceQuest was meant to be a four-year project spanning WWI's centennial years of 2014-2018. While we haven't totally decided on what form PeaceQuest might take after that, we are certain to hold a national-scale gathering which looks back and celebrating our collective achievements over those four years.
